Dru is our Projects Director working closely with Paul on business strategy, client relationships, system developments and project management.

As a product of the apprenticeship education route Dru progressed from business administration to accounting before moving into management in youth work. As a firm believer in the values of apprenticeships he has supported many young people into starting apprenticeships who have gone on to develop successful careers. As a youth worker he supported young people on placements, in apprenticeship roles and delivered short courses in both secondary schools and as extracurricular activities.

Having worked from outside the education sector Dru moved into an assessor role; his attention to detail, passion for apprentice success and ability to innovate new techniques led to increased success rates, improved recruitment and exceptional audit results.

When Paul introduced the Skillswork system Dru decided to team up with Paul again, having worked with him in his first business, to offer a different view on the system development from a front-end user perspective. Since joining the team Dru has developed a deep understanding of the complexities within apprenticeships working closely with MIS, compliance teams and apprenticeship managers to influence the functionality of the system.
